Chamomile tea, like phoenix said take baths not showers soak in something relaxing like epsom salts, my mom use lavender (I don' know if that's a mental thing). Orange juice, tons and tons of water and no chicken strips chicken soup, chicken broth. As far as the pain goes take motron ib with the chamomile tea you'll probably go to sleep but you should wake up feeling a bit better. It also doesn't sound like you have the flu it sounds almost like food poisoning.

If you can try to keep down somehting with a pain reliever in it that will help. Maybe nyquil...if you don't like the taste go for the capsules. Drink lots and lots of fluids, even if it does come back up, you body will have something to come back up. This will help keep you hydrated. If you can stomach gatorade drink some of it as opposed to soft drinks and juices which may cause more harm in the long run. Don't force yourself to eat anything. Stay in bed and try to just sleep through as much as you can, rest is really the only thing that will somewhat speed it along. Flu is a virus and it has to run its' course. Sorry! Good luck, I hope you feel better soon.

motrin is best for these kinds of aches and pains, but if your vomiting, you might not be able to hold it down...i would suggest a hot bath, or shower which ever is most comfortable for you, and rest until the flu passes...if you do decide to take motrin, take it with food, you can use pill or liquid form. sometimes nothing works and you have to let it run its course...

i'm crossing my fingers the flu passes me by this year....hope you feel better soon...
