There's nothing wrong with being Christian, just as there's nothing wrong with being Muslim or Hindu, or Jewish. What you should, which many people in today's society do not do, is learn to respect another person's choice. You don't have to like it or approve of it, but respect it. Just as your friend I'm sure respects whatever religion you choose for yourself. The unfortunate part of living in the world these days, just like in past years, is that many people are intolerable to others. The more a person becomes tolerable to what's around them, the more they become stronger.

I would say its up to you and how you feel about it, myself personally I have no die in the wool religious friends. I myself am an athiest I guess, I pretty much don't beleive in any god. But what Im trying to say is, if your friend pushes you into it tell him to stop, that it makes you uncomfortable and thats not apart of your life nor do you want it to be, but don't be rude because I think you can beleive in whatever you choose! Just please don't push it on me. So try and explain that its not him or their faith just that its not something you like and don't want to discuss.

I mean thats what church is for :)

*by the way my mother is a christian and we get along fine* :)

If your best friend has become christian accept it and move on. If you have a problem with christians then you may not be as close to your friend as you used to be.

What is the problem? So what, your friend is Christian. That doesn't change a thing, except you attitude towards him. Obviously, if you have sucha problem with Christians, you should do him a favor and get out of his life. NO one needs a negitive person hanging around all the time.

Your friends are who they want to be. If you do NOT like it, which is pretty self-centered, just move on. Me, i am christian so i do believe that there is only one god. But you should accept friends for who they are, it also gives you more to talk about. If you did the exact same things, then you wouldnt have anything to talk about that you already knew.

If he tries to convert you or talks about all this religious nonsense, I think you should leave him. Find a better friend with same ideas as you.

would u abandon the relationship if u find out he was gay instead? I think what ever he decides in his personal life should not affect your friendship with him at all, unless u were not a true freind in the first place

I agree with the person that said you should find a new friend. Having you as a friend will only weigh him down.
