What matters is are you attracted to him and do you think he's cool? In the end it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. You are the one dating him. If you are just with him to be with someone then that is a mistake.

Wow! You will have plenty of time to meet all kinds of guys. You always have high expectations for your first boyfriend. Enjoy being together!! Don't sweat the small stuff! You guys will get to know each other a lot better. Plus, if he makes you laugh, and you feel good around him. I wouldn't worry about the other things.

why be confused? honey, outside appearance is not an issue.. as long as he makes u happy and u guys get along well nothing else should matter!who cares what everyone thinks about him, they dont know him any better than u do, right? its all about a persons personality.. appearance or looks fades away... attitude is a signature..

No, it doesn't matter. Lots of girls have unreasonably high expectations of guys, and most of them aren't even decent catches themselves. So don't listen to them. The important thing is that you like him back . . . I noticed you left that detail out. Have a nice day!

if you are happy then NO it doesn't matter. Looks aren't everything. People are to concerned with what everyone else is going to say that they are to blind to find true happiness. So if you are happy don't let him not being gorgeous stop you from finding true love....

Often the "beautiful people" know they are beautiful, and that beauty is only skin deep.
Often the "okay" but really bright and fun people have insides that are "beautiful people" and they are fun, committed, and excellent.

It only matters if it matters to you. Do you like him? Does he like you? Do you consider him a friend? Does he consider you a friend? Is it love? It doesn't matter or should not matter what other people think. What counts is what you think.
