So many if's here your ages, situation, relationship, ??????? some people if there able just do it he certainly doesnt think nothing of you and maybe he's opening the door for a tighter relationship who knows not enough info here, but I do know that time will tell I mean a weekend comes every week so more than likely you'll know if he takes the opportunity to ask you out again I mean that fact you went to eat together probly says more than paying for it because usually if someone asks you to go thats a given like I said I dont know the situation, good Luck Kim

Not necessarily. However, it does depend on the guy and what he thinks of you. Most gentlemen will pay for the ladies' meal particularly if it is a date. If he is with a friend he could very well do the same thing, I know I would. I can consider one of my friends a true friend and if I happen to see them in a restaurant by themselves I just might pay for their meal myself. So it doesn't necessarily mean that the guy likes the lady but in most cases it does. Notice I said, "Like" not love.

Not all the time. I have a really good friend who is too much of a gentleman to let me pay for my meals and he does the same for all of his friends that are female

No, not always I was brought up that the man pays for the meal weather he wants to or not.

But I personally can't answer...

Sorry.

it might

maybe he just has more money

if one person has way more money, they should pay for the meal

if its an issue, eat a $7 meal instead next time

No, he is just nice and wants someone to share his meal with, don't let one meal get you all shook up. Just tell him thank you I appreciate the dinner, I'll be seeing you and then see what he says to you.

It usually does, but he could also be that he is just being nice. It depends how much the meal was.

It usually is customary for the guy to pay. It can be that he likes you or it can be so that when you tell your girls about him, they'll know that at least he wasn't cheap.

not necessarily....i have guy friends and we sometimes take turns paying for dinner. so you can't really judge by that, but if he likes you for more than a friend there will be other signs....good luck. p.s. you can always talk to him and see how he feels if you are confused.
