This will depend on what side of town, and what part of the country you're in. As I'm from the south, I can give you what the lower range will be, but it'll be comparable anywhere. Hmm...nice dinner (midrange, not black tie, I assume)...about 40-ish, for the two of you, if you go somewhere NICE. Otherwise, around 25-30. The activities depend on the event, but, perhaps around 20 for you're run of the mill, movie/mini-golf/something else activity. So... as you can see, it depends on what you have in mind. The dates I've gone on usually run around 30-40 total, but that's because I'm a college student.

I'm simple so a nice place like golden coral would be about $20 for both and a movie is with popcorn, pop would be about $15-20. and if not a movie a stroll in the park would be healthy and all it would cost is the gas to get there and your time. or a park and boat canoe for an hour is about $12-$16 dollars. if its about money we could go to red lobster, movie or theater, I'm not a put out so if that's what lets say you would want motels, hotels would range from $40-$200.00 a nite. but you mentioned a date so your a gentlemen. have a nice date. wish i new you. you will have a nice time.thank you

Why do guys put so much emphasis on how much money it takes for a date? If you don't have it, why would you want to portray that image that you do right off the bat? Be reasonable, put back about $ 50 and go to dinner. then maybe a nice walk in the park or on the beach (I don't know where you live) but there are places that don't cost much if anything.

It's always nice when the guy pays on the first couple dates, but after that I think they should either take turns or pay their own way unless it's a special occasion...especially if shes making more money than you and can afford it. She seems pretty stingy if she's rather not go out than pay for something herself. On one had I think that she should be paying (I'd feel bad letting the guy pay for that much for me unless we were married...and then we'd be sharing our money anyways...) but on the other hand, she'll probably get pissed if you bring it up. I guess its up to you what you want to do about it...

I know personally I am a girl who is a sucker for creativity, picnic basket, walk on the beach a CD player with music to dance under the stars to. What would it cost, a few bucks at the deli a cheap bottle of wine and a lot of thought. I don't think all woman want the pretension of the nice restaurant, theater yadda, yadda. perhaps i am wrong.

Well, go to the restaurant ahead of time and ask to look at the menu...they'll let you do that if you tell them you plan on coming back. Then average out a cost. Movies now are like $20 for two people, so if you plan on doing that, add $20. Don't forget to factor in gas, tip, optional flowers, etc.

You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a nice date. In fact, some of the best/most memorable dates have been ones that did not cost either one of us a lot of money.

Well, I think you have a good idea about how much it would cost since I would insist you take me to your favorite restaurant and that you plan the rest of the nights activities....Of course you've been bringing me lovely flowers all along and have surprised me with lovely presents quite often--- so I'd let you surprise me once again..if it ain't broke don't fix it right Tiger ? And of course we'd have the best time ever ...until the next time when we'd try to out do yourselves again knowing that life is short and it's best to reach for total & complete BLISS !

Not sure my ideal date has a price tag, but I am sure dinner and something fun afterwords would probably go over $100.
