Is it a misalignment of the vertabre, or an ached neck muscle, or perhaps a damaged nerve

its when your muscles seize up and cause pain. This is due to wrong posture, in need of new pillows , tension etc. Have someone give you a good massage! That should do the trick. If you have recently had an injury then get it looked at

A stiff neck can be caused by many things. Most often it is the neck muscles that can go into spasm, some times from an injury or even a cold draft blowing on your neck. Nerve damage will also cause neck pain. This needs to be treated by your Dr. The so called misalignment of the vertebral column is more for the benefit of bone crushers(chiropractors). For a simple sore neck you can get OTC meds. such as Robaxicet, which is a muscle relaxant, that will solve your problem. If it does not, see your Dr.

its when the neck muscles get stuff and the blood vessels get stiff also if u rubb it regularly for awhile then it should be okay

Any of those that causes your neck to be stiff and difficult to move.

get under a doctor"s care and he will direct you what to do and how to do it,,,I do stretching as this is a great thing to do with and for the neck and hot packs and followed by cold packs,,,,

It is probably sore neck muscles. keep rubbing em baby.
