I hated PE too, but I went through every single year of it. Of course it didn't help then either that I had uncontrolled asthma at the time, any my coaches were like "suck it up."
What is her test? Something like running a few laps or doing excercises? Or a written test on heart rate or something? Tell her to think of it this way: The coaches don't really grade on what you do, just that you do it. It's not like she's trying out for a team. And nothing's worse than retaking PE.

Tell her to grow and take the stupid test. It will only get worse as she gets older, ie college. Also ask her, what is she really scared of? It's only a test, it's almost like a homework without looking in the book but instead using her head!

Sometimes even if she isn't there on that day some teachers make you make that test up the day you come back, so either way she is going to have to take it. The best time is when everyone else does it because if she has to make it up on a day when nobody else is doing it then she will probably have a lot of onlookers. Which will probably make her even more mad.

Take it from somebody who got straight A's in high school except for P.E., which I failed: She needs to go ahead and just bite the bullet and take the test. It'll be over with soon enough.

I agree with some of the other posts.
Tell your mom, but that's just being a bad sibbling also. Helping her is also a good idea. Preparing. Or you could always let her know that P.E. is a requirement and she'll have to pass it sooner or later.

Well, you could explain to her that gym tests tend to be easy.
And by doing a test, she won't have to do as much running around/gym-like activities.
And sooner or later, she's going to have to make up that test anyway, so she may as well get it over with.

Sit with her help her to revise and tell her that you know she can do it and that you will be proud of her no matter what the result is! Sometimes all we need is a little encouragement and some kind words!
