Penguins breed in colonies and can be fiercely territorial. They breed closely together mostly because there is very little ice-free space. But they are also highly social animals that recognize individuals and return as adults to the rookery where they were born. The colony helps these birds guard, protect, and defend their young. Within these colonies, penguins build rookeries with pebbles and guano. (The Emperor does not build any nest at all because it breeds on the ice.)

They are probably more moral than I am.

The make better parents than most people I know.

They don't proselytize either.

Thumbs up Duckie!!! Yes, I've just returned from the Arctic and I can say that the penguins I new four hundred and thirty five years ago are still there and show no signs of having aged at all. So then I would think that they are indeed immortal, good for them!

Only until other penguins defeat them and take their heads...

Then at the time of the quickening, all penguins will be drawl to a single place to finish the game. The last one will receive the prize...

I hope not for your sake. I mean a lifetime of 70 years can make a man tired and bored. Immortality would be unbelievably boring ... to me.
