I'm 35 and would like to know where I can go (besides bars) to meet women. The grocery store has never worked well for me.

Bars are terrible places to meet women - they are GREAT places if you like giving free drinks to random chicks who aren't really interested in you and if you want to have bartenders flirt with you to get bigger tips but they're not really interested in you either. Bars are the worst for meeting women - just go there to have a drink and that's it (and buy you're own liquor and nobody elses - don't let some girl drink at your expense unless she's your woman).
Supermarkets, laundromats ect are also terrible places to meet women - most women there are married or in a relationshp and even the single ones are reluctant to talk to strangers on the street.
Basically, I'd suggest your job, your neighbors and any kind of organization you might belong to.
Look at your co-workers - are their any of them you'd like to date? If so, give it a shot!
I don't know if you live in an apartment (like I do) or a private house - but look around you? Are their any single women around that you'd like to spend time with?
I don't know what else you do with your time - are you a religious person? If so, look around you at your church/temple/synagogue/mosque ect - are there any single women there? Are you involved with any kind of political group? Are you in school? Do you do volunteer work? Any setting like that is good too.
Remember, most women our age are either married, have a boyfriend, are lesbians or are single but basically don't want a man in their lives. It's hard to find women in our age bracket who are single and looking - so it's not going to be easy for you.
Keep your eyes open - and don't feel hurt if it takes a long time to find the right woman! It's not you - it's them!

That's a good question since most women I meet don't seem very friendly. . I just wish they could be like the girls at bar I used to go to. They had dancers (the same girls also served beer).and the owner hired only the nicest ladies. They really had friendly outgoing personalities and liked people. BTW I would have taken any of these girls home to meet my parents, they were such nice polite ladies.

You might try volunteer associations. Women are asking the same question.. where can I meet men (besides bars).

go out with ur friends,walk in the park..........go to places u dont usualy go,i think in this world there's a lot of women which u can meet but maybe ur a little shy,try to go and have ur dinner in a restaurant alone and maybe u'll find a single woman ...........good luck
