Gift cards are great. Bake some cookies and attach the card. It is difficult to buy for someone if you don't know who it is. You could also buy something like wine glasses set of 4. That is always a nice gift. Look for sales at Macys for those though.

How about an agenda/datebook/dayminder type calander? I just got one at Books A Million for my office's grab bag, and it's put out by the Audobon Society, so it's got nice pictures, and it's something a guy or girl would like.

Go to www.RedEnvelope.com. They have great stuff for just about everyone. They can be a bit pricey, but if you google things like "red envelope coupon" or "red envelope free shipping," you might be in luck and find a secret online code so you can stay within budget. I bought the framed four leaf clover for friends, (one a guy, the other a girl), and both loved it.

Red Envelope also has a decent sale section, with many items under $20. They have nice leather CD cases on sale, and you could fill it with some CD's you've burned of holiday music.

Coffee and tea related items are also good. There is a stainless steel travel coffee mug at Target that is pretty cool b/c it has a plug so you can put it in your car and it keeps it hot while you drive. It's $10, so you could put that with a small gourmet bag of coffee. Or, you could just get a really nice bag of coffee (and maybe a plain ceramic mug, together in a basket) from some place like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, or Illy. I looked for the mug I bought for a buddy at Target, but I only found a more expensive one--and I know I only paid $10, plus tax. (It was a Target brand in the men's gift section, and it came in a red box). But to get an idea, check this out:

For Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf gifts, see:
http://www.coffeebean.com
French coffee presses and tea presses are also a great idea, and they are pretty budget friendly. Bodum makes the most common versions of them, and you can find them at Target, Williams Sonoma, or in many coffee shops like Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf or even Starbucks. If you're really looking for a bargain, I think they sometimes also have them at places like Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx.

You could also get something like a leather or stainless steel business card holder. If you find one for cheap, you could always put a gift card to Starbucks inside as an added treat for when they open it. (Can you tell I love coffee?!)
You could also go to a nice stationery store or even an office supply store, like Staples or Office Max, and get a good pen or pen set. I'm not sure how nice it will be for $15, but it's definitely a unisex gift.
Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping!
