My hair used to be black but my roots[which are blonde] grew out so I bleached it. When i bleached it my roots were as blonde as they could get and the rest of my hair was a light orange color. I decided that I wanted to go back black again. So I used Feria "starry night" and now its faded where the light orange part used to be so its a brown color but where my roots are its BLUE. I just want dark brown hair. So could I dye it over with dark brown or would I still have uneven hair color?

Oy, you've really got a situation there! First of all, don't panic. If your hair is in good condition, and you haven't over bleached it, you can fix it. The bottom line is that you didn't bleach it long enough. Because your hair is naturally blonde, you'll need to go all the way back to that lightness to get the full coverage color you desire. My advice is to bite the financial bullet, and get a professional cosmetologist to help you. Don't rely on over-the-counter products at this point.

See a professional. And never put bleach on your roots first. Always start with the shaft when using bleach. Then put it on the ends and roots. This is because those areas will turn lighter faster. With darker haircolor start in the back section of the head and do the shaft all the way down to the root. Then do the same for the front sections. Go to a salon that can do corrective coloring. it could get costly. Don't do it at home again since you have so many colors it is just going to be uneven again.

i think you should give it a try. Because i have dyed my hair millions of times just go to sally's beauty supply and bye dye there. Dyes from wal-mart things like that DO NOT work lol. My hair was orange once too. So just go there and get a brown that you like and when dying make sure its all even looking. Hope i helped. Good Luck! : ]

Get a toner, like "oops" at any drugstore and that will remove the color. Then dye over it with dark brown.

You need to have all the color stripped from your hair. Then start over from scratch. I would highly recommend a professional for this treatment or else you might really damage your hair.

Definitely consult a professional. You could potentially end up with very bad hair, or worse, bald. Go to a salon and get your hair fixed.

all you need to do is go to a good hairdressers/salon and ask for it to be stripped this will take it back to your natural colour you can then dye it what colour you want.i wouldnt keep dying it though your hair will become very weak and you wont be able to do much with it at all!

I think you should go to a professional salon and get it dyed again and then you'll be set.
