Jesus' birthday is traditionally celebrated on Dec 25, as you may well know, but there is debate as to when he was actually born. Some place it two years prior to conventional beliefs, some a couple years later, but it has been accepted through much of history that it took place in the year 0 AD. It is most likely that he was not born on Dec 25, this day was used as it fell on a corresponding pagan holiday, Christianity, like many other religions, has absorbed and adopted many dates and celebrations from previous belief systems.

It is theologically assumed to be between March and April the time of the usual Roman census every 5 years. When all who were able were to go to the nearest large city to be counted for the purpose of tax. The December date is a compilation of the pagan holiday of solstice, the Roman day of Vineia, and the Jewish festival of lights. The Christian calender began at the birth of Christ creating the year zero.

December 25 is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, but theological historians know that is not the real date. As per the stories told about the account of his birth, it was most likely actually in the fall, but an exact date is not known.

Nobody actually knows. For one, a calender system created by the Romans is widely used today, however at the time of Christ it was not the standard.
It is also widely rumored that Christmas was set to coincide with pagan solstice rituals in order to convert people.

Unknown, but the weight of evidence seems to suggest it was probably some time in the Spring, March or April. Why is it people are so interested in matters that really have very little bearing on their peace and well-being?

The bible does not say. December 25 is celebrated, but everybody knows that it is not his real birthday.

Not in the wintertime. Shephards do not watch flocks by night in that area of the world in the winter - it's too cold.
Speculations have ranged from early spring to early autumn

no one knows for sure, but it is likely that it was on a night we celebrate New Year. 25th December was chosen, because in the old times pagans celebrated the birth of the god of the sun on that day, so leaders of early christian church thought that in that way more of the pagans will convert. hope i helped
