It depends on what you are praying for.
If you're praying for you and your family to be blessed, then you want "God".
If you are praying for the courage to walk around town with no underware on, then you pray to Britney Spears.

This question would be considered blasphemy, so yes it is a sin. Britney is not God. On judgment day you will have to answer for asking such a question, it's mockery of God, and you know that.

Britney can't give anything spiritual to you, even if you think your flesh would enjoy it. She will be dust a couple of hundred years from now, but God will be the same as today.
