Everyone are children of God in that we are all born into this world. Everyone has seen the true light when born into this world.

Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God. He Is the Promised Emanuel (God with us) named Yeshua for He shall save His people.

When people are dead spiritually because of rebelling against Gods Truth, they need to be born again, reborn spiritually to spiritually see the Kingdom of God again. These people are born again & restored in relationship with Father God through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior & Resurrection.

These are those born of God, redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb of God. Sons can be translated as children when you look at the Greek original word. These are the children of God, born of His spirit, cleansed by His blood, joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod, we are part of the family, the family of God. We need to be led by the Spirit (love, joy, peace, faith, etc.) and not by flesh impulses (anger, lust, envy, coveting, critical, etc.).

You're right.

God refers to the nation of Israel as his "son" all over the Bible.

This is not meant in the literal sense that God came to earth and got a human woman pregnant, and the product was the "biological" son of God.
Such was a concept found in Greek and Egyptian mythologies, which made it way into early Christianity around the time the Book of John was written, circa the year 100.

God said in the bible, that to all that receive him He give power to become the sons of God so if u trust God and believe in Him u will be call a son or daughter of God and God makes a separation between u and the people who don't believe ; the first verse meas that God's sons were separate from the the unbelievers but they were getting together with unbelievers and procreating

Looks like good logic. We are the sons of Adam. Which means we are of flesh. Jesus Christ is a part of the Godhead and did not pre-exist in flesh as we do. We are called by Jesus as friends of His when we listen to Him and do His will [ten commandments and biblical admonitions]. To become a son go to http://www.getsaved.com/

First of all, you're right, son of God doesn't mean the term we use today - but by firstborn he means the one with the most honour and the one that carries His work. we are all God's sons and daughters, and those who carry out His Word are His firstborns.
But of course, that's only my opinion.

The Hebrew term "benei eilim" means sons of God but actually refers to the angels.

Any other biblical reference to sons is strictly allegorical.

God has only one true son, the only begotten Son of God, Jesus.
All others referred to as sons of God are angels in Genesis 2;4, and the others are Gods adopted children.

Don't forget that we all can become Children of God. So the answer is that there is no answer. It changes every second a new Christian enters the faith.

the "sons of god" are angels. thus, the anels went unto the "daughters of man" (quite self explanatory) and the offspring were called nephilim, the bible says they were men of renown, heroes of old, and that they were giants, (like goliath). however god viewed this as an evil. adam could be considered son of god, however he wasnt created out of nothing such as angels, he was created out of dirt, and women from his rib, thus he would be closer called the son of dirt, and women the daughter of rib.
