I just started dating this girl about a few weeks ago and she says she likes everything about me. She is always in a good mood. Now she has been sick the past few days of the flu and she has been very grumpy. Everything i say and do is wrong. She has been arguing with me. I just have been feeling bad because i am not really used to her getting mad like this for nothing. Should i NOT be calling her when she is sick or what? What do i do and is it normal?

Well as you know girls are very hard to understand sometimes... But i think that every (or mostly) every girl can agree that even if they feel like crap, sick and are grumpy, they do not really mean to be. I'm sure when she gets better she will be able to see how sweet and kind you were to her while she was sick. Especially when we are sick we tend to be easily irritated and impatient. It can be pretty hard to NOT take everything she says personnal, but don't! It's the flu speaking! And it's always nice for a girl to get a call from her bf when she's sick. I mean, i can get really grumpy especially if i had JUST managed to fall assleep.. but in the end i 'm happy he called. Hopefully she'll realise it after when she gets better. If not.. well you can ask her if it really bothered her the way you cated and she'll tell you once she's back to normal.

After all, i'm convinced that no couple can always be in a good mood with each other, there has to be some differences at some points but it's all about dealing with it together and talking. And it's also about what one person can accept... depending on how bad it gets.

So in the end it things like that that make a couple stronger or break. But i'm sorry to say that girls can be very hard to live with when sick! It's a good thing that many guys out there remain understanding and bring us cold medecine anyway! hehe;) good luck

It's not normal or abnormal, it's just who she is. She's in a good mood when she feels fine. When she's sick she's grumpy and argumentative. Now you know more about her. Call her less frequently, if she starts to argue, end the call.

Maaaaan, stand up for yourself!!!!!!!
you seem to like her and maybe you want to spend a long time with her, will you have to put up with this everytime she gets sick?? you don't have to be rude of course. but tell her that you understand that she's sick and going through a lot, but that doesn't give her the right to put you down just because she's not feeling well.!!! be clear, confident, and sincere.
Trust me. she will change her behavior

Well, since you've only been dating a few weeks, you obviously don't know her well. Maybe she gets moody when she's not feeling well, and this is normal for her. Is this something you can deal with long-term, if you intend to keep seeing her?

just stay by her side whatever you do so when she gets better you could bring up how much you love her and that you even stood by her side when she was sick and tell her how she was acting so then she'll know that you are a very good person and she could count on you no matter what.

Thr girl is sick, give her a break!!! On top of that she might be PMS'ing ...... Why don't you try brushing up on your bedside manner & bring her some tea and cookies or something.
