Ok. I can't believe I'm gonna share this, but prolly better to ask strangers since I can't even begin to tell friends of family. So here it goes:
I recently logged onto my wife's e-mail account and say that she had a lot of e-mails to one of her male (gay) friends talking about things she wanted to do. And some of them involved ponies. Nothing too bad (not what you are thinking !), but things like riding a pony naked top get worked up and doing it with a guy (like zoro) while riding a pony, etc. I think we have a good relationship otherwise, so I don;t want to make a huge deal out of this.
I think I have three options: (1) ignore what I know, (2) confront her about this; or (3) take her to a petting zoo and try to get her to confess to this crap.
What should I do?

First, is it at all possible she was kidding with her friend? It's very difficult to convey humor in an email, so unless you know the entire context on the conversation, you may be misreading her intent. Maybe they were just tossing around ideas for a porn movie he was joking about directing.
Second, let's assume she wasn't joking. That doesn't mean she's entirely serious, either. Maybe it's something she thinks sounds interesting, but wouldn't actually DO if given the chance (maybe you might say "I'd like to smack my ex-boss in the face with a week-old fish," but that doesn't mean if I handed you a rancid salmon and a face mask that you would actually go and chase them down. It just sounds good to say.) I think this is the most likely possibility.
Third, let this be a lesson not to snoop in your wife's private correspondence! No matter how intertwined your lives are, you should still respect her privacy.
Finally, maybe you should offer to spice things up in the bedroom. Ask you wife if there is anything she'd like to try - maybe role-playing, toys, special tingly lotions. Better yet, suggest that she host a Pleasure Party and tell her she can buy anything she wants! (search online for "pleasure party" or "passion party" for a representative near you.) Then she can get what interests her, and you can reap the benefits. ;)

She was probably trying to sound more adventures than she actually is, maybe she is a bit bored with the routine of life and just thought that would be something different to say or even watch on t.v, remember that because this friend of hers is gay she probably feels a bit more free to tell him things that are taboo. She may feel that you would judge her for even saying something so perverse. It sounds to me that you could probably approach this with out even having to ask her about what you read. All she really wants is to be more open sexually...so try something new, go to the video store together...no need to get any donkey flicks, I don't think that this is really what she is looking for. Just a little something on the really naughty side. HAVE FUN.................maybe a crop from the tack shop would be a good start. ( This is a small whip meant for horses...) A little naughty fun for the 2 of ya.

What were you doing logging on to your wife's email account anways? That shows you don't trust her, but regardless, I think you should ask her, subtly. Like tell her your fantasy and ask her to share hers. If she doesn't confess, be a little more obvious (It wouldn't hurt if she had some alcohol in her either). "My ex had a thing for horses" If you don't think that would get her mad. If it doesn't work, try taking her to a petting zoo, (lol) maybe it will get her to tell you she thinks horses are hot. If all else fails, confront her, she might get mad that you were going through her email in the first place.

#1 is the best choice. Why did you check her email in the first place? There is a trust issue here. Your wife has fantasies, just like you do. Evidently your wife does not trust you enough to share these thoughts with you. Hence, trust issue.

I would NOT confront her. She obviously has some fantasies that she feels more comfortable sharing with her friend than YOU. Confront her and she will think you are a snoopy butthead and really never tell you anything ! You obviously are married to a creative, sensual person ( or else she has a crazy sense of humor/ rapport with her friend). Try to get her to open up to you about her fantasies ( maybe share some of yours) and maybe the two of you could make them reality. Just make sure you never bring up that you snooped. You will lose major points.( just my opinion)

unless she wants actually buy a pony or get with one, its mostly harmless. Maybe join her in the fantasies. Often gay men are the best of all at the fussy details. Consider this, GAY MEN know how to style womens hair and dress them. Straight men have no clue since all they do is stare at her boobs mostly.

Hate to see you get your underwear all bunched up. Looks to me as though she's expressing a fantasy. BE THANKFUL that she fantasizes. Then, think about suggesting that you share fantasies. Be gentle, kind and NON-JUDGEMENTAL at all times. Fantasies are not reality and not necessarily something she would ever think about actually doing--even remotely.
