Hello.In the space of an hour,I have had two Daewoo Digital Terrestrial Receiver Models DSD-9420 which simply packed up after 5/10 minutes use. One packed up after 5 minutes when I was changing a channel. The other packed up after 10 minutes having watched some snooker in black & white! Since THIS Daewoo product clearly doesn't work,what makes and models would YOU suggest I next try and why? Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I'm sorely tempted to stuff the digital option until the last day! Thank you very much,Alan L.

Depends on your budget. I personally have a Sony VTX-D800U which are around £80. The good thing about this box is that if an over the air software upgrade is required then they are regular and reliable. On a more meagre budget I have friends who have recently bought £27 wonders from ASDA and other supermarkets which seem to give good results. If you really want to cheapskate then you might be able to get an old ITV/On Digital box from Cash Convertors or similar, although be warned that ITV teletext doesn't work on these old boxes but BBCi does.
