After the big bang, the first planets to form, cool off, and evolve life were the first planets to evolve advanced beings far beyond our present day capabilities. These beings became bored with their advancement and having achieved faster than light travel set across the universe seeding other planets with life and intervening when the time was to help their children civilizations evolve. Eventually when we have sufficiently evolved we will be invited to join the galactic federation and aid in the spreading of creation through the cosmos.

God didn't get 'in' the world... we did. He was here before we where and He'll be here when we're gone. It's just a matter of us realizing it and believing in Him.
