for a holiday or a night out?
for a night out go to your local - there's always a good atmosphere in nice local pubs, you wont have to wait around for a taxi in the freezing cold while people glass each other and flash their underwear and try and cop off with anything that moves and have to pay ridiculous new year prices
for a holiday go to a remote b&b in the countryside, look on the internet for cheap deals

Aw you gotta save up for it! You cant get cheap for new years
you could go to a party or for a nice meal or you could go all out in the mushy department and light candles all over your house and make a really lovely meal for her and then snuggle up the 2 of you.

Depends where you're starting from. Main cruncher is the air fare and of course people wanting to cash in on it being the New Year. For a rock bottom holiday, catch the bus to the next town, sleep rough and eat out of bins. Good luck :O)

To a public garden or zoo, buy a packet of peanuts or popcorn.
You can't be cheaper than that.
