Children - 0.5ml (containing 10 micrograms of Hepatitis B surface antigen) to be given 3 times anytime since birth as any of the following regimes - 0 dose, 1st dose after 6 weeks and 2nd dose after 6 months of the first dose, OR, 0 dose, 1st dose after 1 month and 2nd dose after 8 weeks of 2nd dose, OR, all three doses given at 2 monthly intervals.
Adults - 1 ml (20micrograms of HBsAg) and the regime best suited is 0 dose, 1st dose after 6 weeks and 2nd dose after 6 months of the first dose.
Route of administration - Intramuscular
