for deep frying I would not recomend anything but vegetable oil or crisco(lard), for something like pan frying I would suggest butter since it will add the most flavor. I would not ever use margarine, or pam in any sort of frying

Depends on what your frying. Lard has the best flavor. Crisco works very well, as does vegetable oil (they're pretty much the same thing solid vs. liquid) If allergies are not an issue peanut oil is the absolute best. It has a very high smoke point and adds a very subtle flavor to foods. If you pan fry in butter remember to use clarified butter ( whole butter will burn).

Depends on what you are frying. For a fried egg I use margarine or butter because it adds flavor. For chicken, potatos, or fish I use vegetable oil because it doesn't adhere to the food and make it have a greasy taste. Raw meat like hamburger or bacon cook in their own grease.

Butter is good for low heat like Eggs. I use Olive Oil for low heat. Canola Oil for medium heat. Peanut Oil for high heat. Also, Peanut Oil is good for popcorn, if, you not want real butter, it gives it a pretty good taste with a little salt. If you want super duper good popcorn, use coconut oil. I believe it has the highest fat content, even more than butter, that why it so good.

In the superstore, fruits are usually chosen much too soon. Some are rocks, many are bitter. Some of the fruit and vegetables are generally right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.

Well, it's according to what you are frying. If your deep frying and want things crisp I recommend peanut oil. If your just sauteing I like a mixture of butter and olive oil (evoo - extra virgin olive oil).
Good Luck!
