I don't believe there are any pros in the long run.
In the short run, you may feel like you have avoided consuming extra calories, but the cons outway any short term benefit such as that.
The cons:
Sore throat
Eroded teeth enamel
Heart troubles (which could lead to death)
Vitamin defeciency (which could lead to death)
Slowed metabolism (making it harder to maintain weight loss)
Not a pretty picture.
If you're thinking about trying bulemia, please seek advise. Most people with this ED will tell you that it's not a fun lifestyle. The best thing to do is try to get to the root of why you may feel like you need to explore this option.
Be blessed. Love yourself! God does not make junk ;-}

Many patients ask me how they can slim down. I am against prescription pills because I prescribed them many years ago, and some of my patients became very ill.
I now recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I now recommend Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard".
The Hoodia being sold at http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php is in my opinion, the best product on the market. It's pure, no side effects, and it's only $4.97 for 2 weeks (yes, less than $5 !). My patients have seen dramatic results with this particular Hoodia.

There are no pros. Bulimics typically don't loose weight and look the same as they did previous to purging.
The cons are usually related to the heart. Due to the vomiting and the electrolyte imbalance, you are right in line for cardiac arrest or heart failure. You will loose the enamel on your teeth and eventually need dentures (not attractive). You could also have damage to your esophagus and after enough times of throwing-up, it may burst and kill you.
Being thin isn't worth it if your dead. Or your breath stinks so bad nobody wants to talk to you.

I have battled Anorexia for 12 very long years which has also included bouts of Bulimia. There is no real pros to it. it is deadly and the damage you do does not make up for the weight you may lose. I have lost two friends to eating disorders and my friend with Bulimia died quickly. It does not take a lot of time to kill yourself. The stomach acid rots your teeth out. destroys your throat/ esphogaus and stresses you heart out. It also destroys your stomach from the constant acid upset. My friends heart exploded and her esphogaus was destroyed she died instantly. You will only lose weight if your timing is right, and you get rid of it all. You let too much time pass your body has already absorbed the food . A lot of Bulimics weight remains stable unless they are into other things too.
The damage way out weighs anything else. It destroys your life and body.

Pros: none. Don't kid yourself: most bulimics don't lose weight.
Cons: almost too many to list
Destruction of your teeth through exposure to stomach acid
Throat ailments
Electrolyte imbalance
Depression
Embarassment
Organ failure and death in extreme cases
and many, many, many others
If you are contemplating an eating disorder in an attempt to lose weight, please talk to someone. Parents, a sensible friend, counselor, clergy, anyone. This crap is easy to start and hard to quit...like most forms of self-abuse.

There are no pros.
It's an eating disorder, and the constant purging can affect everything from your electrolyte balance to damaging your throat.
