Is there a way she can get help from the state for medical? I heard that you can get meds from Canada much cheaper but I'm not sure how legal or safe that is. I've heard of it quite often. I'd be very careful.

There are places that you can buy it, but you need to make sure that it's the same that it's the real thing, make sure it's FDA approved. Since you can't be for certain on if you will be getting the real thing, it's something you might not want to do. You don't want to risk giving the boy something that isn't what he needs.

You probably can, but oftentimes these companies sell knock-off drugs which may not work and may not be safe.
There are many organizations that will help with prescription drugs depending on where you live. Call the company who makes the drug, ask your pharmacist, and try the public health nurse.

I am assuming her kid has ADD/ADHD a non life threatening condition that does not take medication?
To my understanding (I have ADHD) one can not buy this Online? She can be turned into the children's protective services for drugging a child. The doctor should have given her a piece of paper for a prescription.
ALL kids these days have this it seams. Doctor diagnoses or not, Tell your friend to be way careful drugging a child....
