Hey KR,

I like PHOTOED.EXE, it comes with the Windows OS. Easy to use, and FREE. You may have to load it as an option.

I like Paint Shop Pro and Photo Shop Elements. I have also used these in the past...PD Pro (Project Dogwaffle) and The Gimp. The Gimp is free. Dogwaffle as a pay and a free version. Both are really good.

If you can afford it, you can get Wacom's graphire tablet. It comes with Corel Painter (lite version), Photoshop Elements, and some other software. In my area a 6x8 tablet is around $200. It's a bargain considering the included software (full versions, not 30 day trials).

You need photo/picture editing software. Open your picture and there should be a resize option in one of the edit menus, this will allow you to make the image physically smaller to fit onto email. You are best saving the resized image as a copy or under another name, so you don't lose the original sizing. If you need help I can be contacted on IM.

yeah, use picasa. easy to get and use! if you have MS Office installed, you can use MS Office Picture Manager. I think Adobe and Nero have photo editors as well that are either free or fully enabled for a limited time.
