The bible teaches that "hell" is *NOT* a fiery place of torment, but is actually the common grave of mankind.
There is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

First of all, I believe completely that ALL people will have a chance. Jesus said that no one can come to Him unless the Father calls them. And the Bible says that many people have been "blinded" in this end time, God has his purposes for this. His will.. will be fulfilled. From studying this subject thoroughly I believe that all those that have not been "called" will have their chance at the second resurrection to know the truth, they will either accept it or reject it. God is not a "respecter" of people, He loves everyone he just hates the sins they do. There is not one thing in the Bible that would lead me to believe that because someone (let's say India or Africa just for example) that never got the opportunity to meet a missionary or ever, ever in their lifetime even heard of the name of Jesus will be condemned to eternal hellfire! Like I said God is not a respecter of people. All people will have a chance!
Oh, and also......the eternal burning in hell? I don't believe so. When the Bible says "The second death" that's exactly what I take it to mean! There are so many verses to go with that thought that it is an entirely different subject.

Not all Christians believe that infinite Love (God) also takes pleasure in a place that was not made by His wisdom. Many people of other religions will find the consciousness of heaven descend upon them because they do good and reject all evil. The hell business portrays God as having mental problems, but the higher thought knows better.

That's why I'm not Christian anymore because the majority of the churches believe that, Christians are the ONLY people going to heaven? Not saying that they're not any out there spreading realism.
God didn't even come up with the religion ideal, man did. And what would Jesus (pbuh) look like having to choose between his Jewish brothers/sisters & His Christian followers on judgment day. HE'S not, each soul for it's own, your soul isn't labeled religiously, it's labeled spiritually.
I'm glad you asked this question!

...Sir, since you are a fine and learned intellectual, maybe you can show me in the Bible where it says that all people in all religions will make it to Heaven. In looking at the Scriptures for almost 30 years, I have been unable to find this in the Scriptures.
...Also, God does not need nor require acceptance from any of us, and He doesn't require our approval. His sovereignty rules over all,He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He needs nothing from us. And you know what else? He sets the rules - His creatures are morally responsible to Him, and not vice versa.
...Another thing: God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble, and we are told "a humble and contrite heart, Thou wilt not despise."
...Jesus of Nazareth, witnessed by the Bible, historians of His day, and millions of believers, claimed to be God and the only way to God - either He is liar, a lunatic, a legend, or He is Lord as He said. He leaves you no wiggle room on this one.
...What do you say? I pray that you will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved.
...Whosoever will, may come.

Being a member of the Christian left, I assume my beliefs on Heaven, Hell, God and being "saved" might be a little different than most conservative Christians. But, I'm not so liberal that I believe that everyone's going to Heaven as long as you didn't do "really bad things". I believe that Jesus is the only way to Heaven, but I also believe that there are many who serve Jesus who don't know they do, and many who say they serve Him when they really serve Lucifer....
In regards to whether it's fair for people to go to Hell for not acknowledging God's son, I think of it this way: let's say your son leaves your plush mansion in the suburbs to go to a faraway land with the Peace Corps, sacrificing his livelihood and his freedom, knowing being from "the West" will mean he won't be received well. He works tirelessly and truly serves those he's sent to, educates the whole populace, gives freely to all who ask of him, and then he ends up getting executed by those he was sent to for saving the life of another marked for death. Not only that, but the people continue to bad-mouth him after his death, demeaning his legacy and saying he wasn't worth anything to them. What would you think of the people who continue to speak ill of your beloved son? How much more would God be just in judging those who rejected His divine son who saved the whole world at the cost of His precious blood? I don't believe God considers ignorance to be the same as outright rejection, but I think it's fair to God that if His Son really made so incredibly grand of a sacrifice, that He be acknowledged for His divinity and grace... Just a thought...

He has given salvation to everyone with one condition, that they know him and his son that he sent. I think that is fair, if you were to give something to someone would you not want them to know you to get the gift.
Now that being said, you may now understand why Christians are so avid in telling the world about the good news of Jesus the Christ.
We don't want anyone to go to hell, either.
BTW: Paul said that if we know that someone is not saved and we do not witness to them, their blood will be on our hands. We cringe at the thought of being held responsible for anothers salvation so we tell everyone, including you.
As to achtung, if there is no hell how do you explain the example given by Jesus of the rich man and Lazarus. Did the rich man not ask Lazarus to just let a drop of water fall upon his tongue because it was so hot where he was?

surely, all of you're incorrect, and are very unwell, wicked human beings for even discussing this. This "hell" is a fictitious concept created by using human beings, as is your horrendous god. the only one which would be judging your strikes once you die would be...await it.....YOU! sure, you! no person else! The abovementioned "sins" at the instant are not something rather undesirable in any respect, somewhat in the event that they are purely babies. Get a existence, and end wishing such terrible issues on youngsters. i'm hoping you at the instant are not telling that form of crap to them, are you? the only "sin" I see dazzling now could be your judgements on harmless babies, you terrible, terrible human beings! heavily...get some expert help. you're very unwell for thinking in this variety!

What if all non Christians go to Hell? What if that is just the way it is? Maybe it's not fair, but maybe that's the way it is. So, could you deal with that, or would you just choose not to believe and hope that it all goes away? I don't really know, but I do know that God is loving.

Ok, now think of this from God's viewpoint....
He knows, that He is the only living god, and that every other religion is the work of satan, which makes every believer believing in a different "religion" the servant of satan...ergo they must go to hell for adoring idols.
For God there are no religions. He knows, that only He has the might....and that all other "religions" are traps into sins.
And yes He gives us every chance to choose Him:)
