I am a pagan....and I stand in opposition to all things christian in all ways. I have experienced violence on many occasions as a result of my opposition to christians and fully expect more to follow. I am not so concerned for my own well being as my skills are unsurpassed...however...there are those that are not so well prepared due to age, physical condition, etc that wil not fare so well when thier turn comes. I do not fear the attacks, but welcom them....their every failure in thier efforts to kill me shows that their cause is false as are they. Personally I say that it is time for pagans to organize to stand agains the coming tyranny and opression that is being prepared to be set agians us.

How are Pagans who 'support' Christianity cowards?
I am a Pagan and I feel everyone has the right to believe what they choose. Religion is a personal experience, and that is where the world has went a wrong. There are no two people who believe or think the exact same thing. Beliefs and ideas can be similar, but not identicle. So let each person believe what they will and give up on trying to 'convert' people to your religion.
I have no fear that a Christian is going to harm me for being a Pagan. Verbal assults are only as strong as you allow them to be. We've come along way since the burning times.
You've posed a poor question here my dear.

I am an atheist and I don't despise Christians. Some of my family are Christian and I love them. Some Christians are a little scary to me because I have no doubts they would have no problem infringing on my freedoms and beliefs. I think some Christians are so zealous that if left unchecked by the very wisely installed separation of church and state they would make life miserable for even liberal and moderate Christians. I don't mean to just pick on Christianity though, I feel the same way about religious zealots from any faith and all have them. You will probably get some people saying Christians aren't violent like Islam but I think it is the conditions of our country that prevent things from getting out of hand. Look at Christians like Paul Hill, Jim Jones, David Koresh, etc.. This Christmas a video game "Left Behind: Eternal Forces" which premise is to convert or kill nonbelievers. Once you have killed them you can use their souls to refurbish your own health stats.

Well, yes and no.
I have nothing to fear from my neighbors. You probably have nothing to fear from yours, if you live like I do.
I don't display my religion for the world to see, but if I chose to do so I might have reason to fear. And I don't work outside the home, so my job can't be threatened. I don't have children, so I cannot be threatened with them being taken away from me. Sadly, these things HAVE happened to Pagans for no other reason than that they are Pagans.
One neighbor across the street from me has a six-foot tall painting of Jesus-as-shepherd on his garage door. No one cares. If I were to put up an equivalent display on my garage door of..oh, say, the Goddess as Maiden, with the words "Thank Goddess!", I could probably expect some harassment or snubbing. Hopefully that would be ALL I'd get.
But the question is, do I have anything to fear from your neighbors, or you from mine? Mobs are not rational.
There is an escalating aggressiveness in public "piety" by some Christians that makes me a little uneasy. What ought to be a pleasant greeting, "Merry Christmas" is sometimes uttered as an aggressive challenge, a "(merry) CHRIST-mas" that dares you to declare that that's not your holiday; that you're not also a Christian.
Similarly, the hostile stance towards simple politeness that is seen in the war on "Happy Holidays" is disturbing.
Mostly, no, I don't have anything to fear from people who know me. But there are folks out there calling themselves Christians who would be quite happy to do me, or you, or any other Pagan harm. You can read about some of them here:

I try not to think about it, as I'm a supporter of religions, but I do fear that religious discrimination is where this country is headed, and I know that me, being a Pagan, would be discriminated against. I sometimes fear for my physical being when I wear my pentacle or moon necklace, but it doesn't keep me from wearing them. I will accept whatever pain (physical, emotional) that people throw at me because I stand up for the things that mean most to me.

I don't think pagans and atheist living in large cities have anything to worry about. They can come and go as they please, and wear their beliefs on their sleeves advertising it to the world. Nobody thinks any different and it's all "whatever" to them.
The small-town pagans and atheist, however, cannot do such as their big-city counterparts. I'm pagan and live in a very, very small town in the South. No way in the world would I come out of the "broom closet", as it may. I know how the locals feel about anything different, and being pagan would have me harassed, bothered and threatened, so I keep my beliefs to myself. I also have a small son to think of, and I'd hate him to be persecuted in school just because his mom does not believe as other kids parents do. My husband supports me in my beliefs, which is good.

I am an atheist, but I don't particularly despise christians. I only despise it if christians try to convert me or to mis-define my atheism. I am not afraid of any christian, but this is maybe because I do not live in the US. If I lived in the US, I might fear christians.

I don't fear them where I live. I worry that if my spiritual path of Wicca ever came up in a job interview I would likely not be hired, and that if some of my friends find out before I choose to tell them I may lose their friendship, but I don't fear for my life.
Of course, I don't live in the Bible belt. If I did, I might feel quite differently.

there have been copious discussions approximately your question. i comprehend there are impressive human beings accessible who do not have faith in God, be that because it could, human beings won't get into heaven for stable deeds on my own nor can they, "purchase" their way into the dominion. If that have been the case, greater plenty may well be there. there have been money owed of people dying and coming decrease back with substantial faith and theory. All have reported they experience a outstanding peace, see a bright easy, see kinfolk, their mum or dad Angel or see who they suspect is Jesus Christ, Our Lord. they could't show the incredulous love they experience and then they are advised to pass decrease back. All have reported they did not prefer to stay on earth. a number of those human beings have even cried over having to come back decrease back right here and a few have long gone right into a deep melancholy. I observed a narrative some guy on television, who grew to become right into a proclaimed atheist. sooner or later, he died on the working table for a jiffy and went at present to hell or his view of it. What he observed there terrified him plenty that once he have been given out of the wellness facility, he at present stated as a Minister? Priest? He "replaced his song" at as quickly as and he's now a Church member. He reported what he observed made him comprehend he grew to become into "barking up the incorrect tree." =] additionally, all you will possibly could desire to do is look interior the mirror to have faith there's a God. <><
