I'm thinking of moving there and commuting into London. Am wondering how good the train service is and if anyone knows anything about regeneration in the area

sittingbourne is a nice town,,plenty of shops/farm shops for fresh veggies next to the M2 for london as far as trains i think ur have to change at bromley south (not sure on this tho).only down side i know of is theres a big industrial estate so there are plenty of trucks in and out all day long so check where u want to live in sittingbourn...

i live near there.

If you want any excitement in Sittingbourne,,you have to go to the bakers shop and watch the bread slicer

Beautiful countryside with only 1 hour to Victoria.
Good schools. Gorgeous country houses with land.
Loads of new developments. Easy access to coast.
A lovely place to live.

I don't know think it's pretty quiet though you should move to gravesend I like it and it's good for comuting
