I seem to be getting more unwanted calls since changing over.

If you have the same telephone number, it would make no difference. The TPS service works by telephone number and has nothing to do with the company carrying your calls.

You should point out to all unwanted callers that you are on the TPS list and that they are breaking the law. Say you will report them next time they call... they probably won't call again.


NB - TPS doesn't apply to calls originating overseas. Surprise surprise, more UK companies are moving their cold-call departments overseas to get around the rule...

My experience of BT has been 'sturdy'. I incredibly have yet to come back throughout a telecommunications employer that supplies 'very sturdy' provider yet for my area BT is between the extra helpful ones. a chum and a family individuals member of mine the two had TalkTalk and did not have one sturdy be conscious to assert approximately them in terms of shopper help!

Yes you will get unwanted calls as Talk Talk dont have sources to do anything about unwanted calls etc .Toucan has though and they are great .

with the tps service you do need to update this every so often, it may be that changing suppliers has caused that to be removed from your account my advise is register again you can do so online and call talk talk to make sure that your telephone number is ex directory!

nope but as your not with bt your not paying 4 ex diertoer so your number goes out to phone shoping companys i no this as i was with bt went with talk talk had same prob

You should not have swapped. They use call centres abroad and give your number out i get the same problem but i keep getting calls from talk talk asking me to swap to them they wont go away
