The first followers of the way (Christians) lived in a communistic society. The Holy Spirit makes it possible to work. Without that it is very difficult.

Beter plan for us sinners is to limit the amount one can accumulate in some type of formula like no one can have more than 1000 times the amount the least of us has. This way people can not get so much the only thing left to use their material accumulation for is to have power over the rest of us. Think about it.. Limited use of greed as a motivator.

I Israel when the place got started they had these small communistic collectives called Kabutz. These worked fine except when they young no longer needed the security of the group and wanted the excitement of the western life they left and most have now been dispersed.

Chavez has raised the standard of living in that country and in Cuba they have superior medical care to here. It is a relitvely new form of Government and perhaps the kinks can be worked out but the capitalists will oppose them every step of the way because they want their power, to do with as they please as they do here. Now they have bought out the Government andf short of some righteous dude in disguise getting in by mistake as both Roosevelts did or there being a third party things will go the way of the feudal system here as well, it will be in disguise but still there are the elitests who think they deserve to rule and everybody else gets what is left over.

I personally dont find communism (true communism) very bad at all. It's when bad dictators have used it that there are bad results. Some points to communism is REALLY that everyone is equal. No special treatment for race, religion, gender etc...there wouldnt be people making billions of dollars a year while others live in boxes in the same city. Marxism was really never tried out. We see communism only through the dictators who have used it. Such as China's one child per family law, forced birth controll, this is NOT communism but the decision of the communist dictator.

I'd be curious to see how it would work without a DICKtator running it.

It is like being a racist--all you can see is how other people act racist toward you! When it is coming from you, really. So, they project their bias--no one likes to called fat when they are, or a liar, if they do, or a communist, if they follow it. Why? They are embarrassed to be uncovered. Communists work best under cover and in the dark. Why do you think all the most recent bills passed are late at night behind closed doors in secret--to avoid detection by the Truth seekers and upholders of our Liberties which the communists in congress and white house are stripping away through illegal and I believe unconstitutional laws. Everyone Obama knows and likes is either a marxist or communist. And republicans are not remotely like Hitler--a fascist. If not for the repubs--some-we'd already be communist china if the democrats had their way!

If you mean communism in the true sense of the word, no, nothing wrong with it at all.
The only problem with communism is that any outside influences like greed, and corruption can take hold among the weak willed and selfish.

Most peoples idea of what communism comes from the McCarthy era politics.

What most people think of as communism is really totalitarianism or military dictatorships.

The state owns every thing in a communist system... There are no civil rights except what the state says you can have. All you have to do is look at every country that was or is dominated by that system...what school system did you get your lack of information from on this system that is against evey thing The US stands for? The only thing worse would be under islam.

Communism works in 'theory' but not in reality. Basically, the government mandates everything, to ensure a 'balance' in their society. What education you get, what job you take, how many children you get to have, etc.

Yes communisim is bad for two reasons.
1. It doesn't work and results in starvation.
2. It always results in dictatorships taking over control.

I have been to Russia and my wife has been to Cuba and believe me you wouldn't want to live there.

Communism is great for ants and bees but not for humans.

The Government owns everything and says it belongs to you. Totally a autocratic government and no freedom. In our world today communism is godless.
