lol. so, i have this funny philosophy. Ready?

Athiests do not believe in God.
To know that there is no God, one must know everything about and in the universe, therefore defining them as... God.

If you are an Athiest, you are God.

The Bible says you either serve yourself or you serve God.

So, there is no such thing as an Athiest.

Lol.

If you're going to joke about a philosophical position you dislike, you ought to, at least, know how to spell the subject of your wrath. It's spelled "A-T-H-E-I-S-T."

Also, your premise is silly. It assumes that atheists claim to know everything. What atheists claim is that an all-knowing, all-seeing, omnipotent and supernatural being did NOT create all things. Atheists assert that to make such a claim about this supernatural being, one must first prove the existence of said supernatural being, which no one has yet been able to do.

Nice try, though. ;-)

Your understanding of logic is very lacking. A more correct way of putting it is this.

Atheists do not believe in God.
To know there is no God, one must simply use common sense and reasoning.
The bible is erroneous and illogical
So, there is no such thing as a logical believer.

LOL

Uh, don't think that your reasoning is quite right. I'd also check your referrence on:
"The Bible says you either serve yourself or you serve God."
This sounds really weird to me, as if you've gotten the quote/intention backwards.

As far as the "joke", hmm, sorry, don't quit your day job and stay in school.

That's kinda funny, I have a logical proof here on my homework which I'm trying to do that's almost exactly like that.

It's because you assume your initial assumption is correct which makes the statement false. Though it's you're belief you're correct which makes it funny.

If you worship your self its called Satanism, being Atheist basically means you don't really have a religion.

I'm not either of the two but i still didn't get the joke

Xians are proof against sarcasm. yet they DO have Poe's regulation on their edge. the fairly some funniest issues they say are meant to be taken heavily. How do you compete with THAT?

not really funny, and if you want to present this joke as a logical situation - the first sentence should be "There is no God", then it would be correct

The same exact thing can be turned around about someone who damns all other religions different from their own. Nice try though.

Extremely false logic. To know there is not God, doesnt mean I know everything in the universe. From then on, all your logic breaks down into nonsense.

that was about as funny and clever as any joke I've heard... in the last 15 seconds.
