i hear this all the time christians wanting a theoracy and i want a honest answer too here and if that is what you christians want then you will end up with a war on your hands and more blood than what you have had in the past 2000 years. i hope that people realize that a theoracy is killing in the name of your god and that it also would mean the down fall of the government and many other things. killing is accepted but yet i know christians would kill a non christian in a heart beat and that is why mostly christians support the war in Iraq right now

funny, isn't it?

they claim theis country's founders built the US upon christian values (which is wrong)

and now, they want the laws to reflect the bible, and want a christian society -- which, by the way, is EXACTLY WHY OUR FOREFATHERS fought for freedom from the oppressing British King, where church and state were intertwined, and religious freedom for EVERYONE didn't exist. they are so uneducated and blind to true history... no wonder it repeats itself!

Interestingly enough, most Christians want the "war" in Iraq to stop. The only people who continue to fuel it by sending in foreign fighters are NOT Christians, but you already knew that....

I don't know anyone who wants a "Christian theocracy" in the United States. Oh sure, that sounds really scary and some liberals like to throw it around to try to demonize their opponents, but it's just partisan nonsense.

And I am a little scared that you "know christians who would kill a non christian in a heart beat". I'm glad I don't know anyone like that, whether Christian or some other religion. You may want to make some changes in who you hang out with...

We have a theocracy already. It is called the Church, a lot of Christians reject this authority however and try to impose their will on a world that is not interested in the things of God. We should try to influence our world and we have the right to but I think that a lot of Christians go about it incorrectly. That being said, I take offense at the notion that a Christian is somehow precluded from relying on his religious world view to form opinions on things like politics, or social morality issues.

I can answer this. The theolcracy form of government is a catholic agenda that once was prevelent in europe during the dark ages... when the u.s. came about the pope swore he would destroy democracy. but soon after that the pope was taken into captivity.. the MONROE doctrine was a result of the catholic church plotting to overthrow the U.S. thru the southern countries.. and now they are trying again by invasion. so the Constitution was written as it was because of theocracy and how it had ruined europe. now some want it to come here? it will be a dark day when it happens.

My God fights his own battles. I don't want a theocracy as is interpreted by humans. I don't want theocracy in America. I want a TRUE theocracy on the entire planet. Where God *directly* rules humans. Otherwise, you have humans trying to tell you what God wants, rather then letting God rule you directly himself. What some of the Islamic countries have, (Iran I think) are not true theocracies. A theocracy comes from the Greek.

Theo = God
kraticos = rule.

What goes on in those countries is more like: Clergy rule.

I want and pray for my GOD to be the one making the final decisions, from heaven.

Unfortunately, you have the wrong definitio9n of a thocracy. Israel had a theocracy before King Saul. A theocracy is where God is our leader, not a fallible man. So yes, I would LOVE to have a real theocracy, because the one who made us and who loves us would make a better ruler than greedy, self-serving humanity any day of the week!

You obviously don't know what a real Christian is. That is understandable sinse there are so many fakes out there. No real Christians want a theocracy or a war.

What in the heck are you talking about and where in the heck are you from. You need to find an adventure/drama novel to read.
