My puppy found the head under a little amount of bark, and I am wondering if I should worry about it been witchcraft, and what should I do?

Absolutely call your local SPCA or Animal control right away. Either it is a dangerous wild animal or a dangerous human.
Good luck and be careful letting your pets out until you know for sure, otherwise you could wind up with a dead dog too!

Witchcraft.. get a life for goodness sake. I'm a Wiccan and I would have far better things to do with my life than cut off some cat's head and place it in a front yard. Stop blaming specific groups for something which is just nature... some predator got to your cat.. simple as..

Well, it sounds to me that the cat got into a fight with something bigger and faster then that. Or either, you got someone whom likes Stephen King novels a lot and leaving you litle presents. I wouldn't worry about witchcraft, it would be cursed if it had something to do with witchcraft.

well first you should ask your neighbours if they saw anything similar around. if they did then it is either a predator that need the animal control or a person who was mad of his cat.. if no one saw anything, well sorry, this means it is witchcraft, so grab some garlic and spread it in ur garden and by next season you will have your own grown organic garlic ....

Something may have killed it, and left the head on the ground. Ground being under some bark.

Poor kitty... I like cats. Thats not a very pleasant image. But yeah, maybe some predator got the rest or something.

I even have an quite outdoorsy cat that is going outdoors and is derived decrease back rather scratched from mating... yet he by no skill has inner injuries. i might recommend having the cat appeared at at a vet.

It means there is a poor cat running around with no head!!
Take a picture of it and post it in shop windows... "Found: Cat's head... Does anybody have a cat missing this? Please contact (your phone number)"
