Eating meat anytime of the day is not fasting. You abstain from meat but the good news is you can drink all the Rum you want.

Not sure what kind of a fast you are on. A regular fast means no meat or meat products. A black fast means no dairy products or meat; even products containing dairy such as certain breads are off limits.
