1 week old pitbulls. They are the most adorable. When will they walk around and want to get out of the cage? When will their eyes open? When will they walk?

give them a few weeks! they will be driving you nuts in no time.
now, in case you didn't know...please don't wean them from momma until they are at least 7 weeks old.
i've heard horror stories of unruly pups who were weaned too soon. mom, isn't just nourishment, she teaches them respect and other things.
if they bite at her, she will nip them to teach them respect. she will also break up sibling issues too!

They will start opening their eyes around 12 days old-16 days. They will only be little slits at first, don't try to open them or help them open. They get there on their own.
Usually they start to push themselves around 17 days and they can get up and hobble at about 3 weeks.
Oh, introduce water at three weeks old, then puppy gruel.
They are up and walking at 4 weeks, although a little tippy... then by 5 weeks they are tackling each other and walking pretty good.
I raise my puppies from 3-10 weeks in a playpen, I line it with heavy plastic at the bottom. I average one litter per playpen, they end up chewing the netting, but I love the playpen. It keeps them safe and they can see everything going on and it's strong enough to put mom in to nurse the puppies. Mom should nurse up to 7 weeks old, then they puppies should be fully weaned at 7 and a half to 8 weeks.

Eyes usually open 7-10 days from birth. They will try to walk in 2 weeks or so.

Puppies eyes open at aprox. 3 weeks. they walk atabout 3 weeks also.

10 to 14 days...i breed yorkies...for their eyes to open and around 14 to 21 days for their first steps....arn't they cute!!!
