Why do us women ask questions that we don't really want to know the answer to?

We ask men, about about their past, other women, crazy stuff that we know will actually hurt us a bit, are we crazy or what?

not crazy just nosey but i feel if it is something you know will hurt you should not ask cause that just makes it worse because you cant get mad at him bcause you asked

Most women compare themselves, looks-wise (and body-wise), to other women. Men tend to be more obsessed with muscle strength and ESPECIALLY, performance in bed!

When women ask that, they're hoping, I think, to hear: "Oh, baby, YOU are the most gorgeous woman in the world, with the best body and all the other ones were DOGS compared to you!" lol

Men who have any sense at all will say something like that! If they're honest, then they get fried! It goes both ways, too; a guy should NEVER ask how good a past lover was in the sack, or how "buff" he was...and the real killer: how big his penis was!

You keep hopeing you will get answers that you want and wont hurt you.My best advice is to try to ask questions that you know the answers wont hurt you.Like what was your first pets name or your mothers maiden name what was your first car where were you born were you born a man.

I was just talking about that last night with my husband. You forgot to add the one about "does this dress make me look fat?"

Pretty sure it has to do with, we already know the answer to whatever question it is, but we want the other person to deny what we believe to be true and make us feel good. It's best, I think, not to ask questions you already know the answer to, and just go on, knowing that everyone is simply human.

Yes we are crazy and Nosey hehe but we are always curious and like to ask alot of questions,Even though we know the answers are gonna hurt we still do it.But hey we all learn from our mistakes one way or anotha

you ask because you have certain things you want to hear. I believe this stems from all the fairy tale crap society throws at you when your young. Hence when your all grown up you for some reason think it shouldn't be differnet. I don't plan women for being crazy, I blame disney and mother goose!!!!

women are complicated, so they try to be more complicated then they want to be. Plus they are very curios but when it comes to the end they really don't want to know it. in other words they try to confuse men
