enable me first say, i love my pets a great deal. My guy and that i have 2 dogs and a kitty. yet if someone loved me I might want to imagine my wellbeing must be top maximum on his ideas. have you ever suggested this with a clinical specialist? there have been many new issues for hypersensitive reactions. as well, you're putting the cart previously the pony are not you? you've by no skill had a reaction yet. possibly, you've outgrown your hypersensitive reaction. So, see when you're nonetheless allergic. if so, search for suggestion from a clinical specialist. good luck.

I doubt it was because of the cat, he probably had another reason and is using his allergy as an excuse. However, that is a very stupid excuse. Sounds like it's time to move on, you could find someone a little smarter and probably more caring than him.

Maybe he IS lying, but you could always call his bluff and say, "I'll get rid of the cat if you come back" (were you really adamant about keeping the cat?). If he still says no, then you know it wasn't the cat, but if you really want this guy, then the cat has to go! I was allergic to cats, too, but got over it. Still, it feels awful!

wow, he broke up with you because he is "allergic" to your cat? that sounds so lame, if he is lying, he is horrible at it and that is the worst excuse i've ever heard, you need someone 10x better.

does not matter why he broke up with you, he did. End of story. Would you get rid of the cat to get him back? Then drop it.

Think what you like. I am behind him 100%.
Cats are evil and belong in cages. They don't even make good survival food.
