Education doesn't get in my way to heaven, that's absurd.

There are some teachers and professors who seem to believe education is not complete without destroying someone's religious faith. Needless to say, they don't have the arguments, because their disciplines have nothing to do with spirituality. But they have to do their thing, and students have to do theirs. We are living in a postmodern world, when everyone is entitled to hold an opinion (provided it's supported in some way) and positivists should really keep a lower profile.

Don't confuse democratically infused history and neo scientific theory for education. The fact is science has come no closer to explaining the universe than the Bible does and true philosophy began and ended with Plato. Don't be duped by what we call education in the 20th and 21st century.

The only thing that Christians have to fight is sin. The only thing that gets in the way of going to heaven is ourselves.

Nope. 2 Chronicles 20:15 "Thus says the Lord to you, Don't be afraid you, neither be dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's."

Not to mention, Romans Chapter 8

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord..
