what is the best modem from vonage to buy?,there are couple free modems, is Motorola VT2442 best one?

I prefer a standalone Vonage device like the PAP2, not integrated with a router. Advantages:

1) I may decide I want to switch routers for reasons unrelated to Vonage (get a new wireless one, etc)

2) If I cancel the service, I still have my router- it doesn't belong to Vonage.

3) If I take a vacation across the country, like at a friend's house- I can take my device with me, plug into any free port on their router, and my phone works!
