I'm 19 and still a virgin and it seems that every guy I meet only sticks around to see if he can get lucky. What's the big deal? Why are guys so crazy and the "v" word? Any help would do.

Being first is something that no one can ever take away. As a practical example: Lance Armstrong was the first man on the moon, and will forever be in the history books as such. But other people may be on the moon longer, or do more, or accomplish more, but he will always be known as the first, and no one can take that away from him no matter what they do.
The same kind of goes for sex. If you get married and you're still a virgin, then your husband will be your first. Then if he dies, you may have any number of boyfriends who are better, more caring, know more, have more experience, etc, but he will always have that special designation as "first." And no one will be able to take that away from him.
On the other side, if you have a boyfriend who ends up being your first, then that will be one thing he will always be able to be that your husband can't be. It will be something that he can hold over your husband's head. I've been through that with one of my wife's ex's. It's not fun. My wife was my first, though.

I was a 19 year old virgin and every guy I dated would dump me after finding out he couldn't get anywhere.
It's good to hold onto your virginity, though because the one guy that doesn't think he's going to get anywhere and stays around just to be with you is the one who actually cares.
For instance, I just lost my virginity to my current boyfriend because he respects me more than anyone else ever has. He told me he'd be willing to wait until marriage to have sex with me, that's when I knew he's "the one." Well, that and other reasons, of course.
Sex isn't a big deal, really.
It's quite an accomplishment to hold off until you are absolutely ready.
Most girls give it up too soon, so congratulations for waiting.
And good luck finding someone who's only concern isn't getting in your pants.

It's about the fact that virgins are supposed to be tighter than other girls. After awhile, it gets stretched out, and that's no good at all.
Plus, it starts to smell bad if you don't keep up with it enough.
By the way, good job on staying a virgin so long. I think the usual age to lose it is about 14 now, so keep hanging in there!

I think it depends on the guy. Me for instance I dated a virgin for three years and it wasnt about "getting lucky" it was just something in my mind thinking how wonderful it would be to know she loved me so much that I was her first.

Being a virgin is the best @ss detector there is. If a guy is only into you because they want a piece, he is an @ss and you will see that clearly. Girls who give it up have a harder time finding out who is a good guy and who isn't. You have the ultimate @ss detector.

Never figured it out. I like girls because I like girls. Not that they are virgins or not. I know what you mean. Some guys are so hung up on being a girls first. I think its because they are insecure about their manhood. If they are with a virgin then for once they are the biggest and best?? Who knows. Us guys are weird like that. You will find the right one. Settle for nothing less.

what r u talking about??? it's a very special thing to break a girl's hymen! how many times can a guy do that? moreover the feeling is stronger down there as the V is tighter and the girl being inexperience, gives the guy great excitement, visual and pleasure in giving pain and taking the girl to another era!!!

It's a question of preference. For some guys, they like to be the first to traverse unexplored territory. It gives them a feeling of triumph in a way. Personally, it doesn't do anything for me. I prefer experience.
