I think it depends on the person and their immune system response. I can't eat blue cheese but my brother and mother can (we're all allergic to penicillin). Sorry I know this doesn't help very much.

I can't use penicillin but I eat cheese with no problem. Penicillin causes breathing problems for me.

Pennicillan is a bread mold, specifically the pink fuzzy one. If you put a piece of wet bread on a plate and stick it in your closet, you can grow some.
I eat cheese all the time with no ill effects. (I react to pennicillin, too.)

No. I am allergic to pencillin and have no problem with Bleu Cheese.

yes, that is true...penicillin is made from a mold....
