If the size of the head is bigger than 495 then this will be outside the limit for the leagal size of a driver. It has to less than this figure, as they are imposing a 500 limit on clubs.
If in doubt any further then look in the golfing magazines as they will be more up to date on the current rules and regs.

You'll know it illegal when the Golf Cops show up at your house and shoot up your golf bag. You'll need a golf lawyer to protect your right to own and bare your club.
