we know someone that is looking for a kitten to give to thier kids for x-mas. if anyone has any that they want to give away please respond. thx

Hi Angela...consider visiting both the Detroit Metro Craigslist http://detroit.craigslist.org/pet/ or Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com to locate kittens nearby Dearborn. People post ads every minute daily so be sure to check often. There may be more MI towns closer http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/mi that I have missed.

It is not a good idea to give a kitten as a gift to children for Christmas. There is so much excitement going on that it might be too much for the kitten and the family The better way would be to give the kitty 'equipment' (litter box, food, food bowls, kitty toys, etc.) as a Christmas present, and then find a kitten after the chaos of the holidays is over, the tree is put away, and there is plenty of time to spend with a new kitten. You could try getting one at your local animal shelter, or even the larger chain stores like PetSmart or PetCo have adoption areas. But I would wait until after Christmas..
