The right answer is to take the cat in. There are many things that can cause a cat to vomit in this way, anything from kidney disease, diabetes, to having something stuck in her stomach or small intestine. When cats don't eat (especially if they are not a particularly lean cat) they can develop fatty liver disease, so the longer you wait the more at risk she is.

Good luck.

Did you recently treat her for fleas?

Call a local vet for better advise, but it sounds like an alergic reaction or poisoning.

Take a wet washcloth and gently pet her with it until her fur is soaked, to remove any chemical that might have gotten on her coat, that she is licking off and getting sick from. No need to try to bathe her in a sink or tub (hello trauma) Just clean the fur.
Then close her in a room thats warm so she can dry, don't try to blow-dry her.

If she's been poisoned she may not have long, so call a vet!

Don't mess around. call the vets office and say you have an emergency coming in right now or get that cat into the car and once in the door claim emergency and it is, this is serious!!! Those reps that answer the phone will try to make an appointment, too late for that, get that cat to the office now! If you don't, she could die.

Does it look like there is thin spaghettti in the vomit? Not to be disgusting...but that happemed to my cat and it turned out to be roundworms. And she had a complete lack of appetite when this was happening. Medincine from the vet takes care of that. I would bring your kitty there asap. :)

yea i will take her to the vet even though iam studying to be a vet assistant but i havent read anything about that yet but when she doesnt want to eat and she is throwing up thats not a good sign! Its probably something in her digestive system! But overall she is sick!!

Well, the age of the cat plays a big part. Their digestive system weakens with age. If the cat is fairly young, I would take him or her to the vet immediately.

Take her to the vet. I don't exactly know but it's never good when a cat doesn't want to eat.
