I wrote to a girl on a social network site approx. five to six months back. And I get a reply now first thanking me for writing then saying - "don't want to read too much into this...but in case if you were interested, I actually have a BF"

If she has a BF then why write back now after six months ? What does it mean ? Should I have to write back ? Pls advise.
Thanks

My first thought, She wants to string you along. You become a boost to her self esteme. Advice from Mom here, DON'T LET HER PLAY WITH YOU> HIT DELETE

It means what she said, she has a man, and is trying nicely to tell you to back off and move along that she isn't interested anymore.

She probably doesn't check her site often enough, or maybe she was busy with her BF,
This is a situation where you should spend ZERO time and energy...
Do not bother to respond.. it is a dead issue...

Good question, who knows? Doesn't matter. Don't write back, forget her and move on.

It means exactly what she says--she has a boyfriend--leave her alone.
