Just to add onto what the other person said..yes your bird is from Florida, but the BJB might not be the person's initials but could also be the name of the aviary or company that bred the birds such as Betty Jo's Birds for instance.

HI! Your bird was born in Florida. by a breeder with the initials BJB. The numbers might mean the month (6) which would be June. 38 might mean the number of babies that person that year.

Or the numbers were assigned to that person by the organization( NCS) if your bird is a cockatiel.

If I can assist you more...feel free to email me...

I dont know much about birds, but ask your self these questions:

Where did you get the bird?
What kind of bird is it?
How long have you had the bird?

All right, that done try calling the place/person that you got the bird from. Telling them what sort of bird you have and ask them what its bandcode means.

If that isn't possible, then call other bird shops and breeder and ask them. Look up the species and popular breeders of birds online, ask in their furoms.
