I used to have it but have not done that in a long time. I went to therapy and was on anti-depressants for a while, the combo of the two helped a lot.

What it's like can't be described, it was just hell. No one close to me ever knew about it and though the signs were there, no one was looking. If they were, they didn't do anything about it. It was up to myself to help me, and I did.

There are a lot of sites online and support groups about this sort of thing. I think the website I used to go to had fish-something in the name, I have not visited it in years. It was very helpful though, to know you weren't all alone.

My friend in a basic school was. She was little bit bigger, but you wouldnt call her fat. she just wasnt toned. But she did look nice, but guys were always teasing her. that was around the age of 12-15 years, and than she stoped to eat. She lookd terible. She got so skinny, u wouldt recognize her. she lost her period, had to go to hospital. Once i visited her, when she was already back from hospital, and i invited her for our class reunion. She said no, because there might be some food. You cant persuade her, that she lookd nice, and that she has to eat. she eats very little and makes herself vomit. Actually i havent seen her for two years, i wouldnt be surprise, if she was dead now.

First off, it is bulimia (might help with your search). It is very easy to hide and people with it are very ashamed about it. The reason it is so easy to conceal is that you don't lose weight, you just maintain. The stress of purging is extremely hard on the heart, and all the nutrients that the person is deprving themselves of, will cause their immune system to weaken.
