I stepped in dog poop. This was a first date! Couldn't get it off all of the shoe, didn't want to get back in his new car with it on my shoe. It was winter--so I couldn't just go barefoot until I could get home and get another pair of shoes.
I tied a plastic bag over my foot to cover the mess. Then went directly home. That was an awful date.

I had been trying to get a date with this girl for months but she kept turning me down. Finally she gave in But I had very little money. I took a calculated risk and figured I had enough for the movies and dinner figuring she'd eat light ( as most girls do on a first date ) but nooooo, she had the prime rib with shrimp cocktail and dessert. I ate light but alas, it was not light enough. I had to ask her for money to help me pay for dinner. I was crushed and she never let's me live it down...23 years later, we're still married.

I usually embarrass myself on a daily basis.
It's actually fun now that I'm older, but very traumatic when you're young and all that stuff seems important. It's really not!
