My bf of 6 months just gave up his place since his roommate moved out and i didn't want to move in there because there was mould in it...and we couldn't afford a nicer place...so my parents invited us to live eitht hem...where i was living an yway..
so then my parents sell this house, and buy a nicer bigger one a little out of town...but it's amazing and has a nice section for bf and i to live in...is it wrong to adore this...i get the best of both worlds my bf and my parents in a stunning house, which he adores too he's loving it...my dad is buying a new big screen and pimping eveyrthing out! i'd be happy staying for a few years i'm sure andrew wouldn't....sometimes we already argue i'm "too" close to parents...but my parents bankroll alot and who wants to give that up....sometimes andrew is too independant for our family...i hope everything will work out! does anybody have any similar stories???
Thank You!

My wife and I had a house at the beach and loved living there. Unfortunatly, we couldn't afford to stay there after my wife injured herself and became disabled so we moved in with her Mom until we could find a cheaper place and get back on our feet. We weren't married yet but were engaged & had been living together for over a year. It was a nightmare! Even though my MIL would cook for us and make sure we had everyht ing we needed to be comfortable, I couldn't wait to get out of there. As a man, it made me feel like I couldn't even take care of my family and that made me feel worthless. Yes, I was working, but I still felt like a freeloader for some reason. Anyway, we stayed 6 weeks until we got our own place and things were much better then. I understand that your parents have a nice house and all of the amenities anyone would want, but, if the 2 of you want to get the most out of your relationship and really be together as a couple, you should start making plans to get your own place. Save money while you are there so you can get on your own feet and have aplace to call yours. I wouldn't stay any longer with your parents than is necessary. As a man I would be surprised if he doesn't feel the same way.

Yeah I've done the same thing about 3 years ago I moved from Cali to Texas to move in with my ex and his mom and day and sisters... It was hard in the begging, but it was only a few month till he bought us our own home... If you want to live with your b/f he should be mad enough to put a roof over your head and not use your parents for that... I say you tell you man to grow up and handle is reasonably as a man and support his lady...

my bf got a job far away so i moved back in with my parents, my bf followed after about 4 months of being away. everything was great and we all got on fine so instead of looking for another place we decided to stay with my parents so we could save up for our trip to England to see his dad. we all had our little tiffs and whinged at each other all the time but we were like 1 big happy family. 1 night my dad was drinking all night and my boyfriend and i were asleep. i woke up to my dad screaming and yelling over my bed. next thing i know he lunges on my bf and a full on fight broke out. we moved out the very next day and i havnt spoken to my dad since and that was nearly 3 yrs ago. i havnt been with that bf for 8 months and still refuse to speak to my dad. good luck with your experience though.

uh....how old are you?

If you are over 18 you need to move out and make your own life and not mooch of your parents. your boyfriend will resent you after awhile if this goes on. if he doesnt, then he is a fat mooch too
