To be honest, girls are extremely complicated beings. Being a girl myself I can tell you that we want what we can't have. When a guy is available, and showing interest, it's not fun or challenging for us. The minute a guy is taken, other girls get excited about the possible challenge. There is also that whole "don't date a guy until your friends approve first." Once you start dating a girl, the other girls see that you are "boyfriend" material and they dream of being taken care of, and loved by a guy like you. I'm sure you're a great guy, but honestly it may not be you, it's just a girls inherent need for competition, and companionship.
