I have been off birth control (Yasmin) since the end of October and I got a period in November but no period for December. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

I stopped the pill at the end of the pack in september, had a very late period in october.....an irregular very short one in november and now waiting for decembers. Give your body some time to adjust, it should take about 3 months.

Yes this is completely normal. Your body will need to adjust to the hormone levels in the birth control. I have expierenced this before right when I started taking the pill as well as when i switched to yasmin after being off for about a yr. The main thing to worry about is the side effects such as the nasuea. Sometimes this will be due to the fact that the dosage is too much for your body. The best advice though is to keep you doctor knowledgable throughout your usage of the product.

if your body doesn't regulate to the kind of birth control you are on, talk to your nurse and see if they can adjust the dosages or switch to a different kind. that was the problem i had. i have been on my current pill for several years now and have had no problems. it was a matter of finding a pill that worked with my body, not the "name brand"

Maybe you're pregnant - maybe your body is still adjusting to being off the pill, this can take several months.

it can take a little whie for your body to get used to being off the hormones..so yes it would be okay for you to miss a month for up to 3 mos. but if you've had unprotected sex at all you should get a pregnancy test to be sure.
